Easy Ways to Give

You can raise money for the Lions Band without spending a dollar extra — just by shopping the way you already do. Enroll once, and a slice of your everyday spending comes back to the band. Here are the programs that work for Ennis-area families.

When you check out on Walmart.com or in the Walmart app, round your total up to the next dollar and the spare change goes to the band. Small per order, but it adds up across a lot of families — and it’s completely automatic once you pick us.

Ennis doesn’t have a Kroger or Tom Thumb, but plenty of families pass through Midlothian and Waxahachie. If that’s you, link your rewards card once and forget about it.

Kroger Community Rewards

Kroger donates a % of linked purchases each quarter

Link your Kroger Plus Card to the band once, and Kroger donates based on what you spend — at no cost to you, and without touching your fuel points or coupons. Nearest store is on FM 663 in Midlothian.

Tom Thumb Good Neighbor

Waxahachie
1% of your linked grocery purchases

Tom Thumb (Albertsons) donates 1% of purchases tied to your Rewards Card. You can support up to three organizations at once. Nearest store is on N. Hwy 77 in Waxahachie.

  1. Ask the Tom Thumb service desk for a Good Neighbor form, or link online.
  2. Enter our Good Neighbor number on your Rewards Card.
  3. Shop as usual — the band earns automatically.

A lot of companies match charitable gifts from their employees — sometimes dollar for dollar. If you donate to the band, your employer may match it, turning $100 into $200. It only takes a quick form through your workplace giving portal.

Box Tops is all in the app now. Buy participating products at H-E-B, Walmart, anywhere — then snap a photo of your receipt and the earnings go to the school/band you choose.

  1. Download the Box Tops for Education app.
  2. Choose Ennis ISD / the band program.
  3. Scan your receipt within 14 days of shopping.

A note on H-E-B: our local H-E-B doesn’t offer a card-linked donation program the way Kroger and Tom Thumb do. The best way to make your H-E-B shopping count for the band is to buy H-E-B gift cards through RaiseRight (above) and use them at the register.
